Hi I'm Nidhi! An India-based producer and creative director working across non-fiction, hybrid formats, and pop-culture storytelling. I’m a former lawyer, and I bring a strong eye for detail and a research-driven approach to every project.Over the last decade, I’ve taken projects from the first rough idea to final delivery. That includes development, access, field research, archival, production, and post.

I’m strongest when a story needs clarity and shape, especially when the world is sensitive or unfamiliar, but the storytelling still has to feel inviting and widely understandable. My legal training and OSINT certification support careful verification and rights-clearance, particularly on stories that require extra diligence.

Alongside commissioned work, I’m producing a slate of independent narrative features. My debut fiction comedy feature MACHHLI is in post-production. SWARNAPUCHHRI was selected at the NFDC Co-Production Market (2025), and a third folk-horror feature was selected at the NFDC Producer’s Lab (2025).

These films carry my documentary instincts into fiction: detailed research and places and characters that feel real.At this stage, I’m most drawn to character-led, culturally specific stories that can travel internationally without losing their local texture.
