I've always been drawn to drama and the emotional depth it can carry, and over the last few years I've thrown myself into every corner of a film set, learning the industry from the ground up and building a strong practical understanding of what it takes to bring a production together both in front of and behind the camera.
Two filmmakers who have genuinely shaped the way I think about my work are Christopher Nolan and cinematographer Greig Fraser. Nolan's ability to take a large-scale cinematic vision and ground it in something deeply human and emotionally real is something I find endlessly inspiring. Fraser's eye for light and composition is something else entirely. Whether he's painting the vast, oppressive world of Arrakis or finding quiet intimacy in a single shadow, he reminds me just how much a frame can say without a single word of dialogue.
My ambition is to build a career as a director and cinematographer, telling stories that feel urgent, honest and bold. I want to make drama that challenges people and stays with them long after they've watched it. I know I'm still early in my journey but I'm driven, I'm hungry to learn, and I'm only just getting started.
