I'm motivated by new and challenging experiences that develop my skills, and I place collaboration and communication at the heart of everything I do, whether that's making films, academic work, or my part-time job.
I have recently completed my Film and Television (BA) at the University of Bristol, graduating with a First Class degree. Collaboration and research were central to my studies; I had the opportunity to work in tightly knit teams making short films, most recently as Director of Photography on a hybrid short film, while developing a strong understanding of a range of genres, movements, and issues within the film and television sectors. My studies gave me a rigorous theoretical grounding, and I am now keen to build on this through practical, on-set experience.
This year, I am looking to be mentored and am seeking runner and camera trainee roles that will allow me to develop my practical skills within the industry, while continuing to produce independent film work wherever possible.
Outside of film and television, I enjoy meeting new people and gaining new perspectives on the world around me. I hope to travel post-graduation to broaden my view beyond home. More generally, I value good conversation and enjoy helping others wherever possible.
