Jacob Brookes-Clayton is a production manager and creative producer based in Manchester, working across commercial studio production and independent film.
He currently runs studio and production at Big Shed Studios, covering bookings and scheduling, crew and equipment sourcing, and on-set production support. He previously spent four years in Amsterdam, largely as the sole client-facing producer at Tungsten Studio, a full-service studio delivering photography, branding, music video and national television work for agency clients, alongside freelance videography and best boy work.
His short film Wounds, funded through an AFK grant, was shot across twelve locations with a cast and crew of fifteen and screened at Lab111 Amsterdam and Sala X Madrid. He is developing a feature, Gritstone, in partnership with Aperture.
Having worked across most departments from lighting and camera through to edit and delivery, he brings a practical understanding of what each part of a production is being asked for. Available across Manchester and the North West, and for travel.
