Hi, I am a 3rd year student at the University of Lancashire, and I am currently studying Journalism through this. I have found more of a passion for studio and floor work, and therefore would like to gain some more experience in these areas.

I want to work in the television industry because I enjoy being part of creative, fast-paced environments where every day is different. I’m especially interested in the behind-the-scenes side of production and how programmes come together from planning to broadcast.

Through my experience working on Cooking with the Stars as a talent/production runner, I’ve developed strong communication, teamwork, and organisation skills while working closely with contributors, crew, and production staff. I enjoy the energy of being on set, working under pressure, and helping productions run smoothly.

What attracts me most to television is the opportunity to create content that entertains, informs, and connects with audiences. I like meeting new people, adapting quickly to different situations, and being part of a collaborative team. Working in TV has strengthened my confidence and confirmed that I want to continue building a career in the media industry.    Read Less
