I have over 20 years experience making observational documentaries, presenter-led and investigative current affairs films for TV broadcast, combining creative flair with strong journalistic skills and sound editorial judgement. I love getting under the skin of a subject, quick to establish rapport with contributors, drawing stories out and telling them in visually compelling and imaginative ways. Many of my programmes have involved negotiating and sustaining difficult access, as well as dealing with sensitive issues. All my P/D experience has involved developing, directing, editing and taking the project through to final delivery. Other projects I have recently developed include Fawzia: letter to my daughters with Grace Productions, about the life and work of women’s rights activist Fawzia Koofi, who was due to run for President of Afghanistan in 2014 and various projects with Quickfire Media.
