I work in factual development and production, and I’m the founder of KINTSUGI Entertainment, an independent start-up production company in Wales.
I’ve come up through rooms most people only see one side of: an internship at BBC Radio Wales, the beauty desk at Closer Magazine for Bauer Media, assistant to a PR talent agent, and production floor work as a PA on short film and as a runner.
Alongside that I’ve built my own work.
I developed, produced and packaged a docuseries through to proof of concept.
I developed, produced, hosted and distributed an audio-visual podcast series. And I’ve run brand partnership deals end to end, from sourcing to delivery.
That mix has given me a working grip on the parts of this business people usually specialise in separately: editorial, talent, budgets and finance, and distribution.
I’m now developing a feature documentary and a scripted drama through Kintsugi. Both are in development and under NDA while we’re in the market, so the detail comes in a private conversation.
I’m looking to connect with production companies, commissioners, producers, directors and editors. I move fast and I’d rather build something than wait to be asked.
