I have experience in a variety of programming with a strong focus on wildlife, adventure & documentary. I've been involved in all stages of production, from developing ideas, to location directing, script writing, edit producing and doing final post. 

I'm a confident self-shooter (FS7, FX6, F55, FX9, C300, PMW-500, A7S, 5D). I have experience on a wide range of projects, from filming polar bears in the Arctic to comedy travelogues at the World Sumo Championships in Tawian! I've done stints in development, finding, shooting and cutting taster tapes; mixed sound on a number of presenter lead documentaries and worked on sensitive access series with the police, paramedics and contributors with real life stories. I love working across genres, as each brings up new challenges, allowing me to think creatively and develop my skills as a story teller. Over the past six years, I've been working on blue chip natural history & adventure series.

I'm technically minded and happiest when I can really get my teeth into a subject, picking apart the tiny details to produce a great film. I have a strong scientific/journalistic background with an Undergraduate degree in Biology and a Masters in Wildlife Filmmaking. I am happy working in Bristol, London and worldwide. I've done locations stints in the US, Canada, Australia, Asia, Africa, South America and across Europe. Outside of television I enjoy photography, writing and surfing.
