My career in video production spans many years, working mainly on branded content for major clients on projects ranging from large scale events, to individual news stories, documentary style productions all over the world, and social media campaigns.
My style is grounded in storytelling. I am fast and resourceful, a strong all-rounder, liaising directly with clients as well as preparing all research and production management aspects myself on all types of productions from studio sets to national and international location shoots, dramas, and stories edited purely from library material.
I often direct shoots and support with shotlists / shooting schedules for documentary style interviews and b-roll, as well as briefing remote crews based all over the world; and I direct edits, overseeing editors, graphics designers and all post-production stages through to finalisation and delivery.
Countries I have filmed in include India, South Korea, Qatar, Taiwan, Russia, Japan, The Netherlands, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Indonesia, Serbia, Turkey, Egypt, Brazil, Panama, USA, Dominican Republic, UAE, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Romania, Poland, Tanzania, Bulgaria, Ireland, China, Belgium, Portugal, Kenya, South Africa, Finland, Switzerland, Singapore, Canada, Republic of Congo, and all over the UK. Plus, I have directed shoots remotely in many locations including India, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Bhutan, Ukraine, Australia and Ethiopia. As you can imagine, I have built a strong list of contacts from all over the world.
Under Covid-19 H&S restrictions, via Zoom, I set up and directed a commercial shoot for Braun with an Instagram Influencer at a studio in Frankfurt; and interviews for a UN film on food shortages with contributors in Fiji, Nigeria, Cambodia, Johannesburg, Belgium, Luxembourg, USA, Barcelona, Brazil and Mexico.
During this period, I also directed shoots via MSTeams with a local camera crew at a studio in Denmark, and directed the post-production with editors working from home, to produce over 22 marketing films for LEGO, all delivered within a 2 month deadline for a virtual event.
