The film investigates an anonymous online community with no rules – its players report fake hostage situations to provoke police raids on the homes of their rivals. He has kept an extremely low profile, which has allowed him to observe the community – and interview select members - for years without incident.
His work has also been marked by a great deal of empathy – subjects of his some of his more difficult interviews have included social exclusion, neurodivergence, gender dysphoria, harassment, domestic abuse and trauma. Harry has achieved great results while protecting the boundaries of his interviewees, gaining their trust and respect in the process. He has been described as "a pleasure to work with" on set.
As a director of a micro-budget feature, Harry has served as producer, writer, cinematographer, editor, sound designer and animator. He also performs his own voiceover. He is proud to be the first person in his family to go to University, graduating with a First-Class Honours in English and Film.
Working a range of strange jobs in his youth has given him the confidence and experience to get on with almost anyone - a skill which has proven invaluable as a documentary interviewer. He appears easygoing, professional and attentive. He enjoys board games, hiking, drumming, reading and video games in his spare time.
