My name is Posy and I am a freelance video editor.
I specialise in post-production, curating pieces of moving image into compelling narratives, particularly through cutting and colour grading. Since graduating last year from The University of Brighton with a Film Degree, I have constantly been building my portfolio and experiences. I love creating short form videos in my spare time, whether capturing random stuff that catches my eye, or a trip I take, then format the footage into short 2–5-minute punchy videos. I find doing this keeps my passion alive and helps me discover new techniques. Recently I completed 2 freelance roles, one of which was creating 3 short videos for a bts shoot for SONDERSTUDIOS. It was later posted on Instagram and LinkedIn. I turned their footage into snappy and captivating videos which received a lot of positive traction on their social media. The second of which was a job for the CHILDOF charity. My role was to design t-shirts using their existing logo. I have then been marketing the t-shirts through short form videos that have been posted on their website and soon social media. In July I completed a work placement at Coffee&TV where I acted as a runner and had the opportunity to shadow the talent. This week experience really showed me how much I want to get into the industry, it was truly inspiring. They praised my efficiency and eagerness as a runner. I made the move to London at the end of July to be more accessible to assistant/ runner jobs. I am a reliable, keen to learn individual with such a drive for this industry. Thank you for taking your time to read this, All the best,Posy
