I have been working in the world of television documentaries and factual entertainment for the past eight years. I have experience of obtaining difficult access, casting and managing relationships with contributors (from former terrorists and victims of extremist religious violence to extraordinary "ordinary" people) for a range of different projects.I began my career working predominantly as a production co-ordinator, helping to create programmes for the BBC, Channel 4 and Sky. However, I have always loved story telling and in recent years, have moved away from production, into the editorial side of things. I am a hard worker, team player and have a genuine passion for crafting engaging, informative stories that connect with audiences.As well as working as a researcher and AP for TV production companies, I have also created short documentaries for charities and other organisations’ digital platforms, which I develop, direct, edit and sometimes shoot. I was awarded a BAFTA at the children's award last year, for a short documentary I produced, titled "What Do You Mean I Can't Change The World?". The film seeks to inspire young people to speak out about the issues that matter to them.
