I build the worlds that stop motion lives in. Based in Barcelona, I work as a fabrication artist and production designer — sets, props, miniatures, the whole physical side of animation and mixed-media production. My background is in sculpture and graphic design, and I did my MA in Stop Motion at BAU, which is where a lot of this clicked into place for me. Day to day, that means I'm somewhere between technical drawings and hot glue, between a scale model and a camera test. I handle the full fabrication process — concepting, prototyping, building, finishing — and I stay involved through production to make sure everything actually functions on set, not just looks good in stills. I know Dragonframe well, I think a lot about miniature lighting and lens behavior, and I've learned to solve problems fast when they come up (and they always do). I work closely with directors and DPs — the sets I make are built around how they'll be shot, not just how they look on their own. Over the years I've worked on short films, features, festival installations, and live touring productions.
