Award-winning interdisciplinary writer, researcher, and producer working across immersive storytelling, film, and socially engaged media. With over eight years of experience spanning broadcast journalism, government, and original screen development, I create bold, research-driven narratives grounded in real-world complexity and human experience. I am looking to collaborate and work on bold, socially engaged work, projects that recover forgotten stories, elevate sidelined perspectives, and explore new and experimental storytelling forms. 

My storytelling practice combines archival research, interviews, ethnography, and data to build layered, authentic worlds, working across themes of identity, memory, health, environment, and social justice, with a focus on character-driven, immersive work.

As a journalist with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), I produced broadcast-ready radio and digital stories end-to-end, including pitching, researching, booking contributors, scripting, directing live studio sessions, and reporting on-air in fast-paced environments. That editorial rigour is the backbone of my current practice in scriptwriting, immersive narrative design, and pitch development for film, television and immersive experiences. 

My work draws on extensive international research across diverse social and cultural contexts — from Indigenous communities in Canada to projects in Afghanistan, Palestine, on lighthouses, and the UK — with institutional partners including UN-Habitat, Institut Santé Publique du Québec, McGill University, Home Ground Lab, and the University of Oxford. As a Lead Researcher for the Canadian Government, I directed complex, multi-stakeholder field research projects on Arctic and Veteran Affairs, delivering high-impact briefs, reports and speaking notes for Prime Ministers and Cabinet Ministers under tight deadlines — skills I bring directly to development and production environments.

I am now extending this practice into original projects as lead creator, scriptwriter and producer, collaborating with companies such as Les Années Lumières, Coop Touski, and RBG. One such project, Feu Bleu, a feminist 3D VR spatialized sound experience exploring prediction markets, recently received the Magelis Award (2026) for innovation and was selected for a three-week scriptwriting residency.

I hold an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Oxford, a First Class Honours BA from McGill University, and a Certificate in Screenwriting from Canada's National Institute of Image and Sound. Read Less
