Experienced in:
Self-shooting, producing and directing independent short films.   Proficient in all roles within the production pipeline: from initial concept design, pitching, treatment development and researching science and natural history topics, all the way through to post-production editorial experience (software knowledge includes - Avid media Composer and DaVinci Resolve).   I have key skills in: production management/logistics, location scouting, self-shooting/DOP (macro, timelapes, animal behaviour long lens wildlife filming), contributor liaison/interviews set up, lighting rigger and location sound recordist.    


Under a BBC Scholarship I graduated from the NFTS 2026, after studying their 2 year MFA  'Directing and Producing Science and Natural History' course.

I am also a Padi Advanced Underwater Drysuit Diver with experience underwater filming within the UK, RYA Powerboat Level 2 qualified, Drone Pilot and 1st Aid Trained (Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work - RQF) with North Star Safety Group.

Overview
I am a lifelong Citizen Scientist, passionate about imparting scientific knowledge that is fun for everyone. 

Specialising in creating film with Marine Environment and prehistoric/living fossil elements, I am fascinated by interconnected links between scientific disciplines. I aim to produce films that combines different subject areas/genres, which may seem at first glance unconnected…but when paired together, unexpectedly reveals a new point of view on a story or issue, that we (as viewers) may have previously taken for granted. 

I hope these films will turn the ordinary into the extraordinary, sparking the imaginations of viewers and inspiring them to explore/see the world through different perspective. Read Less
