The role strengthened my passion for research-led storytelling and gave me experience supporting both the editorial and production processes behind a major factual series.Alongside this, I completed the MAMA Youth Project as a Trainee Researcher and Runner, where I developed an original idea from research and pitching through to production for What’s Up TV. I also produced, filmed, and edited my own short documentary through UCL Open City Docs, giving me experience of the entire filmmaking process from development to post-production. Across these experiences, I have built strong skills in research, production support, contributor management, production logistics, and administrative coordination within fast-paced production environments. I also have practical experience in video editing, camera operation, and supporting both office and on-set teams.I am particularly passionate about documentaries that explore historical, social, and underrepresented stories, and I am driven by the power of factual storytelling to inform, challenge, and connect audiences. I am now seeking opportunities as a Junior Researcher, Production Runner, or Office Runner, where I can continue to learn, contribute to ambitious productions, and develop my career within television.
