Hello,

I’m Virginie Michel d’Annoville, and I’m finishing up a position as technical animation supervisor on a feature film at NWave studios in Brussels.

In a few words, I have over 30 years of experience in high-end 3D animation and visual effects. I spent a large part of my career at Industrial Light and Magic in San Francisco, where I had the opportunity to manage several teams of artists and technicians as supervisor and lead on a number of visual effects and 3D animation feature films such as Rango, Pirates of the Caribbean and Star Wars.

I have also spent time as a teacher and education program manager at various animation schools. I enjoy sharing my experience to guide and mentor future artists, and to give them the means to succeed in the field of animation.My experience allows me to lead both the creative and technical aspects of an animation project, while also remaining capable of managing and guiding the artists at all levels.
