I am a Hair and Makeup Designer working across television, film, commercials, music and fashion, with a career spanning HETV drama, comedy and feature productions. My recent television credits include The Blame series 1 for Quay Street Productions/ITV, Such Brave Girls series 2 for VAL/BBC and Brassic for Calamity Films/Sky where I was asked back to Design from series 2 to 7.
I began my career in Los Angeles after training at the world renowned Cinema Makeup School, where I developed a strong foundation in Prosthetics and Special Effects Makeup, Makeup for TV&Film, Fashion, Wigs and Hairstyling. Out in LA I worked as an Assistant Makeup Artist for the likes of HBO and Netflix on comedy skits and my first feature film and joined a team working LA Fashion week. While I am experienced across all areas of hair and makeup design, my true passion lies in hairstyling and wig work, a skill I pursued from the moment I left school. I’m confident working with all skin tones and hair textures and believe in staying up to date with our craft. With 21 years of experience as both a barber and hairdresser, I bring valuable continuity and consistency to my work.
I thrive on collaboration and enjoy working closely with directors and producers to help realise their vision, offering creative input where it enhances storytelling and character development.
I grew up in Blackpool in a working-class household. I had no industry connections or safety net and therefore I am committed to championing access and inclusion within our industry. This is why I am proud to have been the Hair & Makeup Designer for "Blackpool" a film that is described as a love letter to my hometown, celebrating its heart and resilience while shining a light on mental health and encouraging more open conversation within working-class communities. I am particularly passionate about supporting and championing creatives from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, ensuring opportunity and mentorship are accessible.
I am represented by Independent Talent in the UK.
