Daniel is an editor with more than 20 years of experience specializing in the documentary genres of Factual Entertainment, Specialist Factual (Science, Technology, History, Natural History), Dramatised Documentary, Investigative, True Crime, and Sport.
He's also a motion graphics designer creating series openers and motion graphics for the films he edits.
Daniel is a craft editor, able to work as a script-writer and shape first episode templates for successful series such as Nazi Megastructures (7 seasons), Animal Fight Night (6 seasons) or Combat Dealers (4 seasons).
Over his eclectic career, he has helped win tv awards such as Best nature/science Program of the year RTS award winner for “Live from Space” in 2015, and film festivals with feature films like "One Giant Leap: What about me?"
After studying Audio-Visual Production at London Guildhall University he commenced his career working in short films and independent feature films.
He then moved into editing and designing motion graphics for commercials and corporate films at various ad agencies in London and Asia.
Broadcast tv followed working at Discovery Networks, MTV, and Disney in Singapore, editing promos, tv programs, and documentaries.
In Spain, he continued working on tv shows, commercials, and feature documentaries.
Back in the UK, he worked full time in sports tv programs and docs for 3 years.
Since 2010 he has been a freelance editor/motion graphics artist and has crafted more than 120 hours of tv content, corporate and commercials.
