I’m a leading young historian with a significant online presence who wants to expand into established factual programming.

I’ve built up my history-themed YouTube channel to over 12,000 subscribers and 785,000 global viewers. I have a strong personal brand and a proven ability to engage audiences with my confident and articulate presentation style.

I was chosen as one of HistoryExtra’s Top 30 Historians Under 30 and represent the next generation of factual TV talent. I’ve been featured on programmes by the BBC, Channel 4, and the Royal British Legion.

I want to take the next step in my career and establish myself more firmly in the factual programming world.

As a Northern, working-class, non-academic historian, I represent a significant and inspiring alternative to some of the current mainstream styles of TV documentaries. I’ve often been called the ‘Gen Z Fred Dibnah’ because I fill that gap of accessibility, authenticity, and knowledge.

As well as being a skilled presenter and communicator, I also edit all my documentaries and produce podcasts and other digital content for freelance clients. Read Less
