My career has focused on dress and textiles, but this has led me to in-depth research into genealogy, business, and location histories, as well as detailed research into surviving objects.

I love the ‘hunt’ for that ever-elusive piece of information waiting to be found, whether it's uncovering the long-lost owner of a forgotten company, identifying the maker of a piece of jewellery or delving into multiple archives to uncover the stories of a life. Read Less
