With over a decade of experience spanning commercials, short films, documentaries, and authored drama across Kenya and the UK, his work bridges narrative storytelling and research-driven moving image commissions. Alongside film and high-end television development, he collaborates with artists, architects, and institutions on internationally presented projects, including at the Venice Architecture Biennale, the World Around Summit at the Guggenheim Museum, the Nature Cooper Hewitt Design Triennial, and the Sharjah Architecture Triennale. Recent collaborators include Cave Bureau, Circle Art Gallery (Nairobi), and the Nairobi Contemporary Art Institute.
Densu is drawn to character-driven stories that explore history, identity, and belonging, often balancing humour with emotional depth. He is particularly interested in drama, comedy-drama, and socially resonant narratives, with a focus on underrepresented voices and UK–East Africa creative exchange.
