Hi, I’m Katie Lewis, a student at Stafford College and an aspiring filmmaker looking to break into the industry. I am currently looking for freelance work that accomodates my studies. I have a particularly strong interests in emotionally niche and impactful storytelling, using cinematic visuals and colour to enhance meaning, as well as capturing the vulnerability of behind-the-scenes filmmaking.

I thrive in fast-paced set environments and am eager to support productions practically, efficiently, and creatively. Filmmaking has always drawn me in as a powerful medium for storytelling and social impact. I value the collaborative nature of the industry. The idea of a vision being shaped through the passion of many like-minded individuals is something I find truly inspiring.

Through the cinematic side to film, I have a particular passion for lighting and colour grading as well as how a carefully a frame can evoke emotion and ignite social impact. I believe visual storytelling, when done well, can be one of the most powerful tools for connection and change.
