Over the following years, I continued to experience a variety of productions at Puzzlewood and in 2021, I joined the team at the tourist attraction. Around this time, I completed school, where I had discovered a real love for art and design. Combining these two passions led me to pursue a career in the Art Department, and I went on to study Film, TV and Stage Design at the University of Salford in 2022. While studying, I returned to work at Puzzlewood during the summer and Christmas periods and in early 2023, I was delighted to gain my first TV role on The Completely Made Up Adventures of Dick Turpin, filmed on location at Puzzlewood. I quickly fell in love with the feeling of being on set and the work surrounding it. Alongside my degree, I had the opportunity to work within the art department of Waterloo Road and at Stockyard North’s Prop House. I also worked as an Art Department Assistant on the independent film Binding Eva. These incredible experiences allowed me to put my studies into practice, develop my technical skills, and strengthen my creative ability. I am very pleased to say I graduated from Salford with a First Class Honours in Film, TV and Stage design in July of this year. I am dedicated to developing my skill set and learning from those passionate about their craft. I am excited by any opportunity to get involved with entry-level and trainee roles where I can continue to learn and develop as a creative.
