In May 2025, having come back from travelling, I decided that production was going to be my next venture. I joined an eight-week production course, and through my success on the course, I was offered an opportunity to work at Pinewood Studios, within the Creature Effects department for Lucasfilm… Finally putting my talk to the test to see if I would thrive under the pressure of the entertainment production industry… or crumble.
I absolutely loved it.
The production industry is where culture is created, and flying through the whirlwind is thrilling - I am hooked! My toolbelt has only been diversified, from handling accounts and managing invoices to procuring specialist materials and equipment with a moment's notice, to helping out on set as both a dresser and an extra (which was an absolute joy).
My previous roles have been steeped in operations and production. I had the privilege of being a part of the original team to open Europe’s largest yoga studio. Working in yoga studios gave me the tools to stay agile, whether it was dealing with the public (and the highs and lows of it), cleaning studios while checking in 200-odd people into classes, or literally having sewage water come up through the floors. Intuition and Initiative are the name of the game.
I am an all-hands-on-deck woman with a desire to learn, grow and succeed - whilst embracing the inevitable challenges that will line the way.
