I’m Evelyn, a final-year Film student at the University of Westminster in London. I’m originally from Bolzano, Italy, and moved to London to study film and start working towards a career in the industry.

I’m especially interested in camera, lighting and cinematography, but I also love editing and generally being involved in the whole filmmaking process. I’ve worked on a mix of fiction, documentary, music videos, promotional content and BTS, both through university and freelance work.

Documentary is probably where I see myself going in the future. I really like the idea of meeting people, hearing their stories and being able to show parts of the world that people might not normally see. At the same time, I really enjoy fiction and would be very happy working across both.

I’m still at the stage where I want to experience as much as possible and learn how things work in the professional industry. I’m open to different roles, departments and types of productions, and I’m happy to start wherever I can be useful. I’m also very open to travelling for work.

I’m a hands-on person and I learn much better by doing things than just being told how to do them. I’m curious, I like getting stuck into projects, and I’m always happy to learn something new.
