Second year English Literature undergraduate at Cardiff University with a keen interest in the Television and Film industry.

Arts and Culture Director of Cardiff University's Television Society. In my role, I directed and produced a documentary celebrating LGBTQIA+ individuals in Cardiff. I filmed b-roll and interviewed local drag queens, long-standing venue owners, and a ballroom dance family. I co-ordinated a team of eight students to ensure we had enough crew per location. Through shadowing and learning on the job I guided less experienced members through both LUMIX and Blackmagic camera setups, interview lighting, freehand filming and composition. Also filmed on a vintage Fujifilm digital camera for some performance clips to add historical contrast to the modern equipment.

Worked at the Iris Prize LGBT+ 2025 film festival as front-of-house staff greeting filmmakers and guests. Featuring shorts (Sobia Bushra's Best British Trailblazers), films (such as Harry Lighton's Cannes accredited Pillion) and attending industry talks, I gained an excellent insight into film production and the post-production process.

I am also directing and co-producing a ‘Race Across Wales’ charity unscripted program set to film in spring in a 12-hour shooting day and additional confessional day. I recruiting members of the university’s media groups (Television, Radio, Newspaper, and Magazine) to form four competitive teams. Location scouted routes around South Wales to Cardiff and created budget plans for team and crew transport and day facilities.

Before my role as A&C Director, in February 2025 I co-produced a cheer and dance documentary following how community is formed through dance teams. I co-ordinated a film crew of ten students where we covered rehearsals, full day competitions and a ‘Strictly Come Dancesport’ inter-society competition.

Additionally, in my role as Fundraising Officer for Cardiff University's Ice Skating Society, I organised a bake sale, run initiative, and Movember Skate, raising £1k for men's mental health. Read Less
