With over 30 years' experience as a freelance Director of Photography and Camera Operator, I specialise in documentaries and high-end TV productions.

My most recent project, The Great Icelandic Swim with Ross Edgley, is currently airing on Channel 4 — 114 days at sea capturing Ross's record-breaking 1,000-mile swim around Iceland's coastline, filming in Arctic storms, sub-zero waters and some of the most remote locations I've worked in.

Along the way I've shot two BAFTA-winning series (Hugh's Fish Fight and Cruising with Jane McDonald), been nominated for Camera Excellence by the Guild of Television Cameramen, and built up credits across BBC, Channel 4, Sky Arts, ITV, Disney+ and National Geographic. I've filmed in over 100 countries, on every continent, and even been into space — well, nearly, filming on the infamous Vomit Comet.

After 30 years I never tire of it. Whether it's recording a genius surgeon saving a life or filming arguably the most influential artist of the 20th and 21st century, I genuinely feel I have the best job imaginable.

I'm also a qualified drone operator.
