I'm a creative storyteller, who has always worked in both development and production, and am as happy writing up treatments, being on location, or writing scripts in the edit.  I am proud to have had original ideas commissioned, including a high profile primetime C4 documentary, as well as winning awards as a P/D and Edit Producer, on RTS' Best Factual Series, 'The Special Needs Employment Agency', which I took from development stages to full production, while in the edit my episode of the ITV1 popular factual series 'Gordon, Gino and Fred' was RTS and BAFTA nominated 

I thrive on producing engaging, emotional content, whether that is writing an attention grabbing pitch deck, or conducting a sensitive interview. I am a good ideas generator, and have often worked on programmes from their initial development stages, through to casting, location, and into the edit for final production.  I have a strong background in casting, and a great track record at negotiating tricky access, and have used these skills in both production and development. I work well under pressure, and have worked in highly challenging environments, confidently self-shooting, directing multi camera crews, managing multiple edit suites, and hitting tight deadlines for fast turnaround series.

I am passionate about strong character led programmes, having worked on everything from sensitive obs docs, to dating and studio shows. I write quickly and creatively, often to extremely tight deadlines, easily adapting my style from development to comm scripts. I have cut both primetime and daytime programmes, handling self-shot, multi camera, and studio footage, with experience managing multiple edit suites, and have often worked shaping the tone of programmes on multiple first series.  Read Less
