As the former mental health lead for the BBC, I have worked across television and radio productions and journalism to advise a broad range of productions on risk assessment and mitigations for programmes and content. I also provided support when things became difficult and due to the nature of my role, this has meant advising on a wide range of production genres and some of the most challenging situations.

This means I am aware of what can go wrong, how to spot it early and what you can do about it. As a creative professional with grounded experience in practical work, I can help you find solutions that work and make things run smoothly.

I also offer supervision across production environments as a way of protecting mental health but supervision also covers professional and career development, ethics and competence. I am aiming to create this as a standard for productions, building an in-professional model through offering training once experienced.
