Read MoreI am a filmmaker with over 30 years experience in filmmaking at many levels, from running small production companies to producing and directing in-house at the BBC. I have been lucky to work with some amazing subjects, including King Charles III, the late Pope Francis, Sir David Atenborough, President Barack Obama, and several Hollywood Stars and musical artists. My films have won numerous awards, including 4 Emmys, 2 Baftas, and over 80 international festival awards.
My last three films have been Feature Documentaries about the environmental challenges facing the world. I have also developed and gone on to produce and direct award-winning series for television, also focused upon nature and the environment. I also specialise in drama documentary (Mankind, First Peoples, Serengeti Rules, Ice Age Columbus, If... Toxic Waste). For almost a decade, I have worked at Passion Pictures in London. Previously I worked at the BBC on landmarks including Human Planet, Earth's Natural Wonders, Climate Chaos with David Attenborough and Expedition Alaska.
I split my time between Oxford, England and Colorado, USA (where I grew up). I am married, and though we have no children we have a Champion Tibetan Spaniel who has won prizes at Crufts. I play acoustic guitar and banjo in sessions, and love to ski, climb mountains, and kayak. I am writing a book about the environment and my work with King Charles III and Pope Francis.
