I am an informed, highly creative and dynamic television professional, who has considerable knowledge and experience as a series producer, senior edit producer and director. I am a great storyteller. I have a real desire to understand and communicate stories with clarity and vision. I have conducted complex investigations for BBC 1’s Panorama, where I was called upon as a producer, to draw a clear, narrative thread and weave stories that had not been told before. I have also worked for years in factual television, making memorable documentaries for all the major networks, garnering two RTS nominations. One of my successes was Escape to the Chateau. I was able to take that from its inception and create a hit series for Channel 4. It became a show with a global reach, winning a Realscreen award in the US in 2019. I ran the production team, fashioned the content, wrote the scripts and supervised the edits. Not much fazes me. I’m great under pressure, always meet my production deadlines and enjoy logistics as much as the creative side. I’m good at saving money with tight budgets and always believe there is a solution to most production problems. I cut my teeth in television as a journalist, working in news gathering and current affairs at the BBC, ITN and Thames Television. I have made many feature documentaries and other programmes for the BBC, ITV, C4, C5 and Discovery, gaining many excellent reviews.
