I am a multi-award-winning director/showrunner, known for crafting thought-provoking, character-led films, tackling complex issues with a big emotional punch. Over fifteen years, the films I’ve directed and/or developed have won Griersons (1 win, 6 nominations), BAFTA and RTS awards. I both self-shoot observationally and also work with larger teams on retrospective series. Recently I’ve spent two years exec-producing and one more running the documentary development team at BBC Studios. I believe passionately in the power of the little voice to tell big global stories.
