Read MoreI’m an aspiring documentary producer, with a particular interest in the editorial and / or developmental side of documentary-making, currently looking for researcher roles in production or development. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Politics, and am now undertaking my MA in Media and Communications at City St. George’s, University of London, and having recently completed a 3-month placement at Ventureland, working as part of the creative team exclusively on a BBC-commissioned project.
The experience of working under award-winning producers at the company, undertaking research tasks requested of me by the film's director, being involved in creative discussions and having the responsibility of organising the film’s archive was a huge opportunity throughout which I learnt so much that I will carry with me onto future productions.
My specific areas of interest lie in musical, sporting and political documentaries. However, the most inspiring and engaging documentaries are, of course, impossible to confine to a single genre, so have a very open-mind in terms of projects I'd like to work on.
