Helen Shields Edit Producer/PD

I’ve worked with Colin on two fast turnaround productions and found him one of the most “can do” editors I’ve worked with. Creative and resourceful, he edits sequences giving them real sparkle. Editorially he’s strong and he’s very collaborative creating a good rapport with his producer. Musically he has an ear for tracks that are spot on. He works incredibly hard, sets himself high standards and isn’t happy with simply “making do," it has to be as polished as possible. The last production I worked on with him was a brand new BBC show which we edited during lockdown. Despite masses of rushes and the stress of not being in a suite together, he edited some gorgeous and engaging television within a tight two week deadline. I’d have no hesitation in recommending Colin and I look forward to working with him again.
