I have worked in the horticultural industry for over 30 years. Initially, I studied and worked as a maintenance gardener, looking after clients' gardens. Later, I started growing flowers to sell as cut flowers and quickly moved into specialising in growing flowers to sell as dried flowers. I have a lot of practical and industry knowledge to call on. I enjoy networking and meeting new people in the industry.

I have run workshops, using fresh and dried flowers, but also workshops showing people how to grow from seed and some childrens craft workshops using plant items as a basis to help enthuse and connect the next generation to nature. 

As part of the committee of Avon Organic Group, I seek out and research suitable topics for our talks which we hold for the general public. I then liaise with the speaker to bring the talk to fruition.
