For 22 years, media has been my life.

At Toast TV in the heart of Soho was where I began, from machine room to shoots, I gained skills in tape to tape editing, sound recording, lighting and camera operation before finally settling in to the edit, both offline and online, cutting my teeth on AVID, Media 100 and FCP. Over the 9 years at Toast I was fortunate enough to work on so many different things, from adverts and idents, branded content to training videos, live events to corporate dramas, review shows to sports.

I have edited work for companies like McLaren, Volkswagen, British Airways, Toni&Guy, Reckitt Benckiser, Nissan, RBS to name but a few, always adapting and learning new ways of telling stories.

In 2012 I went freelance working on projects involving Ferrari, Samsung, Wired Magazine, Umbro, NATS and BP before directing and editing my first short film. That same year I entered the world of Broadcast television and haven’t looked back, and for the last 13 years have worked on a wide range of programming in obs doc and factual entertainment.

Recently I have been editing podcasts, and putting in to development a web mini series, short films and sketch content whilst also reacquainting with shooting using my own A7S and FS7.

With all this experience, I’m an editor that can turn his hand to any subject in any format. I get great enjoyment in learning new things and will throw myself in to a project learning as much as I can about it. I love to find and pull out the emotion in subjects I’m editing and I have a brilliant sense of what the right music would be for different situation if it’s needed.

Predominantly working on AVID Media Composer but confidentially can use Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve, I’m a fast yet thorough editor, comfortable with all formats and open to finding new ideas of telling stories. Read Less
