In 2022, my best friend and I co-founded The Scheme Livi, a charity delivering free creative workshops as therapeutic outlets for people affected by addiction, trauma, mental health issues, social isolation, and social deprivation. We launched it in response to Scotland’s drugs-death crisis, and because creative pathways didn’t exist for us growing up in social housing schemes.
I’m also the author of 'Euphoric Recall', an indie memoir about my recovery journey, which led to presenting my own STV documentary 'Let’s Talk About Trauma' in 2022. That same year, I was named a Lifetime Ambassador for West Lothian College which is an institution that helped me turn my life around.I gained a BA (Hons) in Social Sciences (2017) and an MSc in Social Work (2021), both from GCU.
Now I’m relentlessly pursuing opportunities in screenwriting, with a focus on bold, character-driven stories exploring themes like addiction, masculinity, mental health, trauma, recovery and hope.Open to writing opportunities, networking, collaborations, and creative connections.
