I have worked as a senior broadcast journalist and filmmaker for BBC Newsnight and also on longer format BBC programmes for over thirty five years.  I am confident working on sensitive stories/issues, have good editorial and legal judgement and enjoy a reputation for reliability and trust.  My extensive experience includes filming on location,  in war zones, and other challenging environments often working to deadlines. I enjoy the creative and editorial challenge of  taking films through the edit and then promoting them.I have worked as a senior broadcast journalist and filmmaker for BBC Newsnight and also on longer format BBC programmes for over thirty five years.  My films have won and been nominated for awards as a Producer/Director covering international affairs, public policy and social issues.   Films include leading investigations, frontline reports, and historical documentaries, some archived as chronicles of events with personal testimonies archived in museums in London and Washington.( Kindertransport -) I always try to ensure that my material is available to other platforms, both online and digital.My wide range of interests includes current affairs, history and international relations. I am happy to work on my own initiative, leading or as part of a team.
