I graduated in 'Comparative Literature and Culture' (2018) from Royal Holloway University of London, with a 2:1. My degree incoporated my passion for world cinema, theatre, literature and art. My interest in art led me to studying 'Contemporary Art' at The Sothebys Insistute upon graduating, for which I gained a Distinction. Throughout my studies I worked full-time in hospitality in both family chains and at 5* silver service establishments. This provided me not only an excellent work-ethic but enabled me to handle a multitude of tasks, keep calm in a crisis and made me excellent at looking after and handling people!
A creative and collaborative soul, I trained in SFX and Prosthetics at Creative Media Skills (2019) and beauty/straight make-up (January 2020). The outbreak of Covid put my desires for a career in 'the industry' on pause, to resume in January 2022 when I was fortunate enough to work as a Covid PA on Ted Lasso S3 for the duration of the year. I worked on Ghostbusters (early 2023) until becoming a Assistant Locations Co-Ordinator on Amazon Feature 'Heads of State', which was an administrative role in which I was responsible for liasing with vendors, carrying out wire transfers and updating Excel/our in house system to maintain records of costings. I worked here until my industry career was halted by the SAG-AFTRA strikes, at which point I decided to upskill by training in hair at the prestigious Delamar Academy. With no industry work on the horizon, I worked at Charlotte Tilbury as a Retail Artist, which infinitly inproved my skills as an artist allowed me to build a very enviable kit thanks to my staff discount!
Realising that industry work was starting to pick up, I handed in my notice at Charlotte Tilbury last Summer and have thrown myself into working a varity of industry work working with wonderful people on interesting projects. These have included HMU, Locations, Studio, Runner and PA recurring dailies on The Beatles film (current), Spiderman 4, Ludwig S2, The Beekeper 2, Stacy Solomon's Sort Your Life Out, Legoland at Christmas and The Butler.
I have bases in both London/Kent (Bromley) and Buckinghamshire, which provides me flexiblity in regards to location. I have my own car, a full-clean licence and business insurance. For HMU work, I have a full kit of high-end skincare and make-up, hair styling/care and prothetics. I have experince working in studios and on location, working on Features, TV and recording studio environments. I am very personable, hard-working and thrive in a creative environment with like-minded people. As I am currently doing dailies, I am not on a contract and therefore am available for immediate start. Many thanks and hope to hear from you soon!
