I'm a northern country girl from Lancashire, England, with a passion for art and design in all its forms. I love adventure, music, culture, travel, and all that jazz.I’ve worked in a variety of hospitality roles over the years, including at a travel agency, alongside freelance work in scenic set dressing and mural design and painting. More recently, I spent time backpacking across Southeast Asia, New Zealand, and Australia, where I loved immersing myself in rich and diverse cultures.I studied Performance Design and Film Costume (BA) at Arts University Bournemouth. During my studies, I gained experience working on several outdoor performance and festival projects, including prop and costume design and making for SISATA Open Air Theatre, puppet and prop making for Salt, a community theatre production in Poole, and scenic art for multiple AUB theatre productions. I also had the opportunity to work as Associate Set Designer and Scenic Supervisor for AUB’s summer production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.I thrive on meeting and collaborating with people through production work and enjoy both the technical planning stages of design and the physical, hands-on making process. I’m particularly passionate about scenic art and set decoration/fabrication and love learning new techniques and skills within this area.Alongside my practical work, I have experience in graphic design and social media projects, using software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, and SketchUp. After exploring various areas of performance design, I’ve found my specialty lies in scenic art, and I’m eager to continue developing my skills and growing further as an artist. Read Less
