Award winning filmmaker, scriptwriter and media practitioner who has worked in radio, television, film and video, including script development, pre-production, film production and post-production. Co-wrote feature film screenplay 'Housejackers,' scheduled for production by Northern Ireland Screen and Poli Productions in March 2023.Broadly experienced, creative and multi-skilled. Qualified teacher (PGCE) and trainer in creative media settings. Started media career as a runner and medical adviser with BBC Films before training as a radio journalist then switching to television, working as a Researcher then progressing to Assistant Producer with BBC Sport. Arrived in script work via a fortuitous, personal link to the US actor, director and producer Laurence Fishburne. Assisted Mr Fishburne in the development of a screen adaptation of a well-known novella (Paulo Coelho's 'The Alchemist') for Warner Brothers. Since then has also worked as a script reader and reporter for several UK film agencies including Script Factory, Scottish Screen and Northern Ireland Screen. Read Less
