Maryam Hassanein is a London-based Egyptian polyglot actress and filmmaker with a BAFTA-qualifying directing and producing credit and ongoing collaborations with internationally credited studio talent. Her docu-fiction short Lost In Time (2024), selected for the London Short Film Festival 2025, sits alongside her current work as Production Manager on Fracture Code, a short-to-feature project developed with a Netflix and Paramount+–credited writer, and as 1st Assistant Director on Bottles, a proof-of-concept short led by Jack Perry Jones (The Crown). Trained theatrically and now working primarily on screen, Maryam moves between narrative and experimental work, bringing a grounded, emotionally precise style to her performances and a strong sense of story, rhythm and collaboration from both sides of the camera. She is fluent in English and Arabic, with working French, and is keen to build her slate of screen roles across film, television and high-end commercial work. Read Less
