I bring strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills developed through a dynamic range of experience across office-based creative production internships, customer service, and hospitality. My study year abroad in the U.S. enhanced my cultural awareness and strengthened leadership and communication skills. I thrive in fast-paced environments, adapt quickly to new challenges, and consistently bring a collaborative and solutions-focused approach to team settings. I am now eager to apply these strengths in a dynamic professional setting, contribute meaningfully to a team, and continue developing both personally and professionally.
My academic and professional experiences have consistently reaffirmed that Film and Tlevision Production is where I thrive. In 2020, I was selected for the BFI Documentary Filmmaking Programme, where I worked on a short film about an aspiring Olympic swimmer. This enhanced my visual storytelling, research, and planning skills, capabilities that directly support campaign preparation and pitch development.
I later interned at Riff Raff Films, where I handled confidential materials such as pre-production documents and assisted senior team members with press releases and pitch decks. While working in the office, I gained a valuable understanding of how to keep a fast-paced production studio running efficiently behind the scenes.
During my study abroad year at Emory & Henry University in Virginia, USA, I directed a student-run TV newscast and co-produced a client documentary for UVA Health about healthcare disparities in rural Appalachia. I managed stakeholder communication, coordinated filming schedules, and ensured alignment with client goals and community values. The project’s recognition at the SWVA Film Festival underscored the value of teamwork, communication, and audience focus. Completing an Acting for Film course at the New York Film Academy further deepened my understanding of collaboration in screen production. These experiences confirmed my belief in the vital role of production management and inspired me to pursue opportunities to work globally while continuing to grow as a creative professional. Beyond my creative work, I’ve held customer-facing roles at Boots, Tesco and TK Maxx and worked large-scale events like the Exeter Garden Ball. These roles taught me to remain calm under pressure and deliver excellent service.
