I am a recent graduate with First Class Honours in BA (Hons) Film and Media from Manchester Metropolitan University, with a passion for Film and Television. I am now looking to embark on the next steps in my career into the film indistry, bringing with me a deep understanding of film theory, media culture and the societal impact of visual storytelling. During my degree I developed a critical eye for film analysis and an appreciation for how media shapes and reflects the world.

My final year dissertation explored the horror genre and its psychological impact on audiences, highlighting my curiosity in how genre cinema influences emotions, thoughts and social attitudes. Additionally, during my time at University I was given the opportunity to work with external film company Cultplex. The company hosts film screenings and events in Manchester, and my team was tasked with researching the current market, identifying ways to grow their audience, and designing an event strategy to help raise their visibility. This experience strengthened my skills in market analysis, event planning and teamwork, while providing me with insight into how independent venues operate within the wider film exhibition landscape. 

I am enthusiastic driven and ready to apply my academic knowledge and creative passion in a professional setting; whether that is in production, development, research or content creation.
