I'm Hattie Morris, a BJTC-accredited Broadcast Journalist, recently working as a Researcher on ITV's Oscars Live. My role included pre-interviewing panel guests, producing a 100-page research brief, supporting the edit of ITVX explainer VTs, and on the night, spending four hours spotting arrivals on the LA red carpet and feeding real-time updates to the production team.

I've been fortunate to work on shows close to my heart, including Loose Women and its Features team on Loose Women: The Music which has been nominated for a Royal Television Society Award. And the Facing It Together domestic abuse campaign which reached over 600 venues nationwide and even made its way to Parliament.

Alongside this, I've collaborated with film critic Mark Kermode at the BFI and Anna Smith on Girls On Film podcast, supporting research, producing social media content, and on-location shooting, including attending and covering the 78th Cannes Film Festival, all while completing my Master's in Broadcast Journalism at City, University of London.

My work spans TV, radio, and social media, and I'm trained in media law, journalism ethics, data reporting, and studio production. I also enjoy using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, Avid, and CapCut in my spare time.

Before journalism, I trained in opera, an experience that taught me how to perform under pressure, connect emotionally with audiences, and tell stories that linger.
