I’m a BA (Hons) Film Production graduate from the University of Portsmouth with a strong desire to kick-start my career in the film and television industry, beginning as a Runner. While I’m still early in my professional journey, I’m highly motivated, reliable and eager to learn, with hands-on experience gained through university projects, internships and live TV environments.During my degree, I gained practical experience across all stages of production, including producing my graduate short film Painting Sunsets. This involved budgeting, call sheets, risk assessments, location recces and marketing campaigns, giving me a solid understanding of set etiquette, organisation and teamwork. I also have experience in editing and content creation, using software such as Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, CapCut and Canva.Alongside university, I’ve worked in live production settings, including as a runner with the camera team at ITV Studios on Love Island: Aftersun, where I supported cable management, monitor movement and observed the fast-paced demands of live television. I’ve also assisted on smaller shoots such as podcasts and charity videography projects, taking on camera, sound and setup responsibilities.My background in hospitality and team-leading roles has helped me develop excellent communication skills, adaptability and professionalism under pressure — qualities I know are essential on set. I’m enthusiastic, proactive and keen to support all departments, and I’m now looking for opportunities to gain further on-set experience and grow within the industry as a Runner.
