A multi-award-winning, versatile film-maker, SP and writer with vast experience in docs, history, arts, science and factual entertainment. Used to handling complex stories, challenging situations and high-profile celebrities and presenters, from Hollywood ‘A’ listers such as Morgan Freeman and Carey Mulligan to British favourites like Sue Perkins, to music royalty: Björk, and Dave Grohl. BBC-trained, with six years at The South Bank Show and thirteen years as a freelancer, I have made programmes for all the major UK broadcasters and for NBC, Discovery, Nat. Geo and Smithsonian Networks in the USA. I have worked across many genres including: documentary essays, observational films, presenter-led factual entertainment, travelogues, CGI-based science films, ethnographical films, filmed profiles, process films, dramatisations, historical reconstructions, discussion programmes and in-depth interviews.
