I'm an audience researcher and writer with a PhD and a background in developing story-led projects. I'm particularly drawn to youth orientated stories that explore life in relateable ways while representing diverse experiences. I am interested in working in script department with a view to development.

I've written and produced award-nominated short film work - screened by BBC Scotland, the Iris Prize, Sunrise, Women X, LGBT2SQ Montréal, ForRainbow Brazil, SunnyBunny Ukraine, Northampton, QueerVision, micro short films winning Best Story at the Film Access Scotland Awards, and have contributed to arts and education initiatives through teaching, academic research and digital audience engagement with art and museum collections.

Having completed the John Yorke Story for Screen course I am interested in working across story. One of my favourite recent shows to watch was Boots (Netflix).

Overall, I'm looking to bring my collection of storytelling, problem solving and imagination into a production or creative environment where I can contribute ideas, scripts and research to create work that resonate with audiences about issues that matter. Read Less
