I’m a versatile and experienced Drama Director working internationally across a wide range of budgets and genres. I’ve directed drama for over 150 broadcast episodes for platforms including Apple TV, Amazon, the BBC, National Geographic, Discovery, Channel 5 and more. My work spans documentary drama, feature films, online sketch comedy, miniature effects, and 2nd Unit action, always with a strong focus on visual storytelling and delivering high production value.

I’m passionate about creating compelling drama that connects with audiences, and I have a reputation for getting the most out of limited time, resources, and budgets. I’ve directed sequences involving animals, children, stunts, pyrotechnics, water tanks, multiple historical periods and languages, often combining several of these elements within the same shoot. I also have a solid working knowledge of VFX and frequently combine practical and digital effects to enhance storytelling.

BACKGROUND
Before moving into directing, I built my career in film and TV art departments. I worked as a Prop and Model Maker on over 30 major feature films including Star Wars, Harry Potter, V for Vendetta, Bridgerton, James Bond, and The Dark Knight Rises, and went on to work as an Art Director and Production Designer on high-end documentary projects for companies such as BBC Arts, Brook Lapping, Darlow Smithson, Wall to Wall and more.
